ADB and removing Facebook from a Samsung phone

I see a few ADB questions on this forum, so I am just going to hope that there are some ADB experts here, that can help, even though this is not a Manjaro question.

Is there a way to completely remove Facebook from a Samsung phone (Galaxy Note 8)? I tried connecting with ADB and I can list applications and uninstall them, except Facebook won't uninstall. Other applications are uninstalled successfully and disappear, but Facebook reports that it has been uninstalled successfully, but it remains on the phone.

I know that it is a Samsung thing to not let there users remove Facebook, I disabled it years ago, but now it has become a challenge to me. Either I will remove it successfully with ADB (or in another way), or else I will install Lineage OS or Graphene OS over the summer.

Let's answer my own question, you have to uninstall it using this command:

adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.facebook.[app name]

So for example :

adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.facebook.appmanager

The important thing, I think, is the -k, that kills the application.
