backing up to Synology nas via terminal, used to work, but now not

This is what I used in terminal and worked:

rsync -avvvhW -e "ssh -p [port number]" [file or folder path] [user@ip_address]::NetBackup/

Now, I'm getting "permission denied" errors, in making new directories onto my NAS, for example, one of the errors:

rsync: recv_generator: mkdir "Downloads/Photos" (in NetBackup) failed: Permission denied (13)
*** Skipping any contents from this failed directory ***

and I double checked that the user, "rsync" has Read/Write permissions to NetBackup folder in the NAS, via user accounts.

Any ideas?

Maybe check if the folder have the correct permissions (not only files).

ls -la -d Downloads/Photos

On Synology users rarely get permissions for shell access using ssh.

this is what I got:
drwxr-xr-x 2
