Backup notebook-folders to QNAP NAS

Hit there,

I want to save/backup some folders (Documents, pictures, music) to my QNAP TS-212 in my local network. But I have no Idea how to do this. Can anybody help?

Hi!
Use your file manager to navigate to your local network and copy/paste

Hi visone,
I tried this. But I only managed to build a ftp-connection. An Dolphin did not copy all file-attributes. For example the install-date has not been copied.

I want to do this with Grsync.

But I don know how to build the right network and how to connect to this with Grsync.

The QNAP TS-212 can build networks like these:
grafik

Any hints for me?

Hi!
The easy way nfs, dolphin have that option too, ftp the next one and the best option ssh but you need to configure ssh in your system

Hi visone,
I enabled NFS v4, SSH, UPnP and Bonjour for SAMBA and SSH:

Now I want to use Grsync to make the backup on the NAS:

But I don know what to fill in for Destination.

And I am a beginner.

Do you have more detailed answers for me?
