Right now, compton is symlinked to picom

ls -la /usr/bin/compton
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 5 Nov 17 08:22 /usr/bin/compton -> picom

Might want to start working on converting your installs. That symlink will disappear without warning in the future.

When will this appear in the Manjaro community repos?

It’s already in testing branch now.
