Computer wakes from sleep mode instantly when bluetooth is enabled

Greetings,

Somewhat randomly my computer has decided that it will not stay in suspend mode unless I turn Bluetooth completely off beforehand.

the result of journalctl -u suspend.target:
Jul 30 17:27:52 brad-lenovo systemd[1]: Reached target Suspend.
Jul 30 17:27:52 brad-lenovo systemd[1]: suspend.target: Unit not needed anymore. Stopping.
Jul 30 17:27:52 brad-lenovo systemd[1]: Stopped target Suspend.
Jul 30 17:35:34 brad-lenovo systemd[1]: Reached target Suspend.
Jul 30 17:35:34 brad-lenovo systemd[1]: suspend.target: Unit not needed anymore. Stopping.
Jul 30 17:35:34 brad-lenovo systemd[1]: Stopped target Suspend.
Jul 30 17:41:50 brad-lenovo systemd[1]: Reached target Suspend.
Jul 30 17:41:50 brad-lenovo systemd[1]: suspend.target: Unit not needed anymore. Stopping.
Jul 30 17:41:50 brad-lenovo systemd[1]: Stopped target Suspend.

Any thoughts on how I can debug this? Even if no devices are connected to the computer it still wakes up so it's not receiving a signal that would be causing it to wake Thanks in advance!

Wake on bluetooth?

Smartphone on with bluethooth?

I do have an iPhone that I paired but then forgot the device. But the phone is not paired to the computer.

Have a look here:

It is solved by a little script.
But if you search the forum by keywords "suspend" "resume"... there are a lot of other good tips.

Substitute your Bluetoth modules for the wifi modules in the scripts.

If that was too confusing for you to attempt here are the completed scripts you need.
