A new update has been released for Manjaro Linux 0.8.12, and numerous improvements have been made, not to mention the fact that GNOME 3.16 is now available to download from the repositories.
Manjaro doesn't use a rolling release model, but the updates made to the operating system are usually very big, and they bring important changes, like new desktop environments, new Linux kernels, and more. The same can be said about the seventh update for Manjaro 0.8.12, which comes with the latest GNOME version.
This article confuses me
The wayback machine ist poppen corken und spitzen sparken.
Odd scraper / regurgitator that happened to find an old post about a very old manjaro release/update. Note the giant 'click here for original article' which then gets you on a click loop through their site again - I cringe to think what crap ads are running around on it
I tried to add a "WTF" tag, but couldn't find one.

Big batched package update releases a few times a year....
