I have had to remove this, because its not Manjaro specific According to some admins
nicely done. looks great
I was just wondering, why not base it on manjaro?
i threw it on a usb to test it out but cant get xorg to load, just TTY, typical optimus laptop bs. i tried adding a xorg configuration manually but forgot i was working on a read only file system i'll play some more tommorow or install vbox to test it out
edit: nm, got it booted with
modesetting . no purple deepin theme on the live desktop but wobbly windows were fun to play with and pretty damn smooth for a live desktop running on the intel igpu. i would install it and test it out but i have no room for it atm, need to do some cleaning.
I will add the
xf86-video-intelto the ISO that should fix the need for adding
Purple theme is just a wallpaper, found in wallpapers, still trying to figure out the best way to get a custom wallpaper the default, for live & user.
thanks for your feedback
Just found a solution for default wallpaper, it will be fixed in next iso
just downloaded and installed all good so far appears to be a good job well done you could have added a browser just a thought
Thank you very much
I don't know what anybody's preferred browser is, I'll leave that to the end user instead of installing multiple browsers
Thanks for the feedback @rbrick49
i noticed the same thing, because i went to go report that i got it working and post inxi info but i found neither inxi or a browser existed and i couldnt install one on the live system. even a terminal browser would be sufficient if not only for those that may need to troubleshoot an installation without needing to use a cell phone or boot into another os/distro. i get what your saying though about browsers, your damned if you do and damned if you dont.
" why did you include chromium, i want firefox "
"why did you include firefox, i wanted chromium! "
"well i want both"
"no browser, keep it minimal"
cant please everyone, but a minimal browser (not palemoon ) would be ideal and less controversial
I checked it out on my laptop. Very slick, well done.
The only issue I had was I had a little accident and closed the installer, when I restarted it (The installer on desktop not the system) it was a different color.. bright yellow with white text. I couldn't read a thing. Restarting the installer again didn't fix it so I had to reboot back into the live environment.
Probably just one of the weird things that happen to me and computers.
I just installed firefox on the live system,
sudo pacman -S firefox
inxi is aur, yay/aur/pamac is not installed by default, again up to the end user, some people refuse to use the AUR. Discover is installed though and works for installing software etc...
I have some tutorials to get them installed
That was all I needed.
Thank you very much
yeah that happens best to reboot and start again so you don't forget were you where...
I am running this on a full amd system will give you more feedback when test a bit more just message me if you want more info

I would recommend this for kde fans it is pretty slick and works well
did you have to install any drivers etc on that system ?
Thanks again, looking good
no I didnt have to install any drivers install went very smooth considering its a arch install I only made one blue but just hit back button fixed mistake and away it went no problem good job ant
Just got updated to KDE Plasma Version: 5.16.2
I'd more likely use this if it was based on Manjaro repos instead of Arch.
