Enable Keyboard Shortcuts in KDE only when USB keyboard is connected

This is probably more of a general KDE question than Manjaro, but I didn't see a KDE specific Manjaro forum.

Is it possible to enable keyboard shortcuts that are only active when a USB keyboard is connected, and then revert to defaults when the keyboard is disconnected? I'm working with a laptop that has some specific keys that the USB keyboard I'm using do not have. So I want to remap these functions to other keys on the USB keyboard, yet have them revert to defaults when the USB keyboard is disconnected. Not coming across any way to make this happen. Can create the shortcuts needed in global shortcuts under system settings. However, have to manually revert when I disconnect the USB keyboard.

Thanks in advance...
