Error: Failed to launch shortcut "<Primary>Escape / Xmodmap

Hi, very odd error I just started receiving, see attached. Yesterday I was remapping keys. So this somehow seems related. Along with this, my Mod key mapping stopped functioning when I booted up today. The Xmodmap is:

xmodmap: up to 3 keys per modifier, (keycodes in parentheses):

shift Shift_L (0x32), Shift_R (0x3e)
control Control_L (0x25), Control_R (0x69)
mod1 Alt_L (0x40), Alt_R (0x6c), Meta_L (0xcd)
mod2 Escape (0x9)
mod3 Super_R (0x86), Super_R (0x87)
mod4 Super_L (0x85), Super_L (0xce), Hyper_L (0xcf)
mod5 ISO_Level3_Shift (0x5c), Mode_switch (0xcb)

The CapsLock as Escape in vim still seems to work but the keymappings using Menu (mod3) within Awesome do not. I reverted to my old rc.lua so I can work. Any help with this would be great, thanks in advance.

Ok, I got the mod keys straightened out by reapplying the Menu keysym to the line for keycode assignment thusly

keycode 135 = Super_R Menu

still though whenever I release control of the mouse from awmtt I get this error listed above

I have to correct that the error also shows up when I hit the key combination of Ctrl-CapsLock or Ctrl-Escape, remember that Escape has been assigned to CapsLock. I can consistently cause it by hitting those key combinations
