Error: No such partition. Entering Rescue Mode...

I installed Manjaro Gnome and then later installed Manjaro KDE in a dual boot. I didn't want KDE anymore, so I used GParted and deleted the KDE partition and resized the Gnome partition. I then typed "sudo update-grub" in the terminal and restarted. And got this error message:

error: no such partition
Entering rescue mode...
grub rescue>

How can I fix this without having to reinstall?

In what system you were running when you entered this?

I resized the partition by just dragging it until it reclaimed all the unused space. I was in Gnome when I did this.
