So i just have to do

$ sudo rm /etc/mkinitcpio.d/linux53.*
$ sudo rm /boot/vmlinuz-5.3-x86_64

that's it ?

yes , i think there a file or config with these number

Maybe in your system are also residues of headers and extramodules. Could be removed by:

sudo pacman -R linux53 linux53-headers linux53-extramodules

@Wollie, @stephane
i made those commands

$ sudo rm /etc/mkinitcpio.d/linux53.*

then

$ sudo rm /boot/vmlinuz-5.3-x86_64

then

$ sudo pacman -R linux53 linux53-headers linux53-extramodules
erreur : impossible de trouver la cible : linux53
erreur : impossible de trouver la cible : linux53-headers
erreur : impossible de trouver la cible : linux53-extramodules

(results says the can't find the target)

so now everything looks fine

thanks a lot to @Wollie and @stephane for your help :slight_smile:

This looks good, maybe there are more residues, please show

ls -la /boot

You still have

initramfs-5.3-x86_64-fallback.img
initramfs-5.3-x86_64.img

which can be deleted as well.

Afterwards enter

sudo update-grub

and reboot.

so i just have to do

$ sudo rm /boot/initramfs-5.3-x86_64-fallback.img initramfs-5.3-x86_64.img

Is that okay or are there some package or something ?

Better do

sudo rm /boot/initramfs-5.3-x86_64-fallback.img
sudo rm /boot/initramfs-5.3-x86_64.img

It's done and here's the last

$ ls /boot

Don't forget

sudo update-grub

and reboot.

P.S. Please mark @stephane's post #20 as solution. Thanks.
