I just want to tell someone how happy I am this morning. For three years I have been trying to run Linux on my MacBook Air, by the side of Mac OS. Whilst Mint worked beautifully I could never find a way of getting suspend to work when the lid was closed. I tried quite hard to find a fix but never could, on none of the other Ubuntu distros either.
Today I have Manjaro working very well on the machine and I can close the lid and resume when opening it! So hallelujah and many thanks to all the people who made this possible.

I dual boot macOS 11 and Linux on an old Air with no problem, I did not try any other then Arch based linux. I did not tweak a much just standard install.

Congratulations and welcome to Manjaro Forum @barriehope!
