Hard drive stopped booting

I had one of my laptops disconnected today and after plugging it back in there is no boot option. I was able to fix it last time using this link: Using livecd v17.0.1 (and above) as grub to boot OS with broken bootloader.

However, when I type search.file /etc/manjaro-release root I get "no such device".

Am I doing something wrong or has something changed since the last time?

Boot up livecd in uefi mode (I think your system is uefi) and at terminal provide output of

efibootmgr -v
sudo parted -l
sudo blkid

Then at liveusb file manager, go to manjaro OS partition and print out contents of its

Check if file /etc/manjaro-release exist.

ps: you should change your cmos battery (the motherboard battery).

Thank you everyone for the help. I have decided to replace the computer. It is about 6 years old. I will take apart this one to replace the cmos battery. Maybe put it into a different case and turn it into a desktop.
