How do you fix dns leak as for the opnv fie (openvpn)

Are there tools (e.g. resolv conf repair, etc.) or others that will fix dns leaks when using openvpn ?

Why on the latest ubuntu and debian aren't these problems and all the traffic goes through the DNS and not here ? How can this be fixed ?
