Installing New Software (Steam and Discord)

I finally am able to install Manjaro but now I am having trouble installing Discord and Steam. Discord always stops at a blank gray screen while steam wont open.

Try running in the terminal and post some of the output.

For the Steam issue have a look at this thread https://archived.forum.manjaro.org/t/steam-libgl-error-on-manjaro-17-0-2-unstalbe/29450/2. One (or more) of the suggestions there should solve the matter.

For Discord take a look here:

@Strit added Discord and libc++ to his repo some time ago

There is also now a "snap" available for discord.

Can be installed with

sudo pacman -S snapd
sudo systemctl start snapd
sudo systemctl enable snapd
sudo snap install discord
