I turned on my laptop today in the morning and this happened
The desktop does not finish loading, even some "widgets" appear.
However, the rest "works" well, I can run programs from the terminal. How can I fix this?
Try System Settings -> Appearance -> Global Theme, select Breeze or Breath2, check the checkbox that says: "Use desktop layout from theme" and hit Apply.
You can use KRunner to launch System Settings (default shortcut Alt+Space, type "System Settings" and hit Enter).
