Please check this Tutorial on how to provide some useful information for your problem. At least post the output of inxi -nxxz while running 4.16 and also for 4.17 if there is a difference.

Sorry. I accidentally pressed the publish button and could not find the topic to change it.

Added output of the command when starting from both Kernals.

I have Deepin DE and in the Parameters of the network the cable connection Writes "First connect the cable to create a connection". And the connection on PPPoE can not be created. It just does not work. I tried to configure the connection through pppd. All according to the instructions. I executed the command "pon" no error. But all the same on the Internet and it did not turn out to leave.

See this:

That was an output that provides the info why the pppoe needs a tweak/change/edit and where to do it ...

Started the system with Kernel 4.17.0-1
I do not have the files /usr/lib/rp-pppoe/rp-pppoe.so, /etc/ppp/pppoe.conf

cat /etc/nsswitch.conf
# Name Service Switch configuration file.
# See nsswitch.conf(5) for details.

What is there to replace?

What do you mean by that exactly?

When you said start with Kernel 4.17.0 you mean the same system and installation as with Kernel 4.16.12?

Because this files have nothing to do with a selected Kernel in Grub. They are part of the rp-pppoe package and don't disappear just because you start a different Kernel.

So I need to install rp-pppoe? I apologize. I'm just a noob in this.

If you want to use rp-pppoe you need to install it. It is not installed by default. It also doesn't depend on a specific Kernel.
