[Known bug] Cinnamon : Super key opens menu on wrong monitor

I have a very minor annoyance in Cinnamon, that I would love to get fixed if there is a solution for it, but that I can definitely live with if there is no solution. I actually have lived with it for months now....

I have a three monitor setup, where the middle monitor is the primary.

When I press the super key (windows key) the cinnamon menu opens on the right monitor (DVI-D-0 in the image) regardless of where the focus is. When I press the super key again, it closes on the right monitor and opens on the middle primary monitor (DisplayPort-0). When I press the super key a third time the menu closes on the primary monitor. If I then press it again, the cycle starts over.

I do use the normal Cinnamon menu, not the Cinnamenu applet. I am on stable branch...

Is there a way to make sure that the menu always open on the main monitor, or alternatively on the monitor where the focus is (might even be better if you are watching a movie full screen on the main monitor). Is there a way to get rid of the "three-cycle"?

I think your best bet is to create an issue for cinnamon on github:

Thanks @mbod, yeah, I will do so, or maybe even look for the "bug" myself in Cinnamons code. I was just wondering if it maybe was something that others had a problem with too or if there was a problem with only my system. I'll give it a day or so (in this forum), and see if someone have a bright idea...

This is a known issue in the Cinnamon menu :
