Laptop can't find NVIDIA GPU inside

Hi y'all,

I've been trying to set up prime with NVIDIA drivers using these instructions [HowTo] Set up PRIME (output offload) with NVIDIA proprietary driver, but it seems like my laptop can't find the GPU inside of it. I'm running a Lenovo Yoga 720 with a GTX 1050 inside.

Here's the result of lspci:

as you can see, the GPU isn't listed there. Has anyone else run into this?

That is because you have a dual graphics system and it is only using the Intel graphics driver at the moment. Setting up optimus switch Call for testing: optimus-switch or optimus manager Guide: Install and configure optimus-manager for hybrid GPU setups (Intel/NVIDIA) should help

That is fine, but please provide:
inxi -Fxxza --no-host

have you check in your bios is videocard nvidia can be on/off ?
