Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 6th gen built-in microphone detected but not recording

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 6th gen and the built-in microphone is detected by alsa, pulse, and GNOME settings, but none of them receive any sound. The microphone worked a few kernel versions ago, however I can not remember which one as it has been a while since I have needed to use the microphone. Here is the output of some commands that may or may not be useful:

amixer -d
