Manjaro wont boot with nonfree drivers

Hi,

I recently installed manjaro on a new laptop, and only when I boot with the nonfree drivers, it freezes on the console screen where it loads what I presume are manjaro's services, not a specific one, but randomly. I ended up installing it with the free drivers, and later on installing the Nvidia drivers and then install optimus-manager, (which worked fine on my previous dell g5 with the same specs), which allowed me to boot, upon doing this, the DE lagged whenever I did absolutely anything, until I used the switch function in optimus-manager to swap back to my intel igpu. Not sure if it would help, but i decided to try and install arch which unless I put nomodeset in the grub config, would give me a spam of nouveau 0000:01:00.0: fifo: SCHED_ERROR 08 [] I have a feeling this has something to do with it, because of the nouveau drivers, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alienware m15
