Manjaro XFCE LUKS broken after 49 updates this morning

My Manjaro XFCE LUKS installation has broken after 49 updates this morning.

It boots up, takes my LUKS password, Slot 0 Opened, Grub Menu...

But then a bunch of dm_mod likely not compile with -mcmodel=kernel... and mount /openswap_keymount: no filesystem type specified and ERROR resume hibernation device not found.

Can anyone suggest a repair from the Manjaro Minimal XFCE boot thumb drive??

I've tried a chroot and the commands below... to no avail.

lsblk -f
---
sudo -i
cryptsetup open --type luks /dev/sda1 crypto_LUKS
mount /dev/mapper/crypto_LUKS /mnt
mount -t proc proc /mnt/proc
mount -t sysfs sys /mnt/sys
mount -o bind /dev /mnt/dev
mount -o bind /run /mnt/run
mount -t devpts pts /mnt/dev/pts/
cp /etc/resolv.conf /mnt/etc/resolv.conf
chroot /mnt
---
sudo -i
cryptsetup luksOpen /dev/sda1 crypto_LUKS
vgchange -a y
lsblk
ls /dev/mapper
mount /dev/mapper/crypto_LUKS /mnt
manjaro-chroot /mnt
---
pacman-mirrors -f 10
pacman -Syy
downgrade package_name
mhwd-kernel install linuxXY
pacman -S --force package_name
mkinitcpio -P
---
pacman -Syu
grub-install --recheck /dev/sda
update-grub
---
	cat /etc/fstab
	cat /etc/crypttab
---
	vim /etc/default/grub

GRUB_ENABLE_CRYPTODISK=y
rootdelay=20
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT

	update-grub

	vim /etc/mkinitcpio.conf

block autodetect

	mkinitcpio -P

This might help...
