Messages in dmesg, is it slowing down my rockpro64?

  • What device are you using?
    RockPro64

  • What edition of Manjaro-ARM is installed? (eg minimal, server, etc.)
    Manjaro-ARM 20.06 / minimal

  • When did you last run updates and reboot?

  1. June 2020
  • What package contains the bug?
    Kernel

  • Describe the bug the best you can. What where you doing when the bug happened?
    dmesg show every few seconds:

Jun 14 09:39:13 mediabox kernel: busb HOST = 0,VBUS_EN=0,vbus_attached=1
Jun 14 09:39:13 mediabox kernel: busb vbus_attach rphy->chg_state = 5

+1, exact same problem here. I don't know if it hurts anything, but the system is definetely slower than my PBP.

Same here.

@tpersons and @Lanza
Can you please provide the kernel version that is installed on your device.

There have been an update to the kernel name so maybe we can look into it and make some public announcement if needed.

Thank you for reporting.

Hi @spikerguy

I can't speak to the performance as I just recently starting using my rockpro and don't have a comparison, but here is the kernel version where I am seeing similar dmesg output (perhaps unrelated with the additional third line).
