Mirrors not found

I successfully made a fresh install of Manjaro 32 bit Xfce on an old PC.
When i try to update with Pacman, i have a 404 error when retrieving core, community and extra.db.
I try different steps :

  • i change pacman-mirrors.conf and add x32-stable (as show on manjaro32.org)
  • i run sudo pacman-mirrors -f 0
But i retrieve any mirror : NOT FOUND
I have no problem with my internet connection.

because of this:

I knew the post.

But according to manjaro32.org and this post Introducing: manjaro32.org
The steps to follow :

sudo sed -i '/# Branch = /c\Branch = x32-stable' /etc/pacman-mirrors.conf
sudo pacman-mirrors -c all
sudo pacman -Sy archlinux32-keyring-transition
sudo pacman -S archlinux32-keyring
sudo pacman -Syu

So what is the truth ? I think i could trust manjaro32.org.

OK my bad excuse me
I read the post carefully again and OK i must wait a solution.
It's annoying, i hope Manjaro32 will continue because it's faster for old computers than other distribs.

Thanks again.

Of course - but no good thing last for ever.

You can still convert to an Archlinux32.

Something good came out it - because the arm project is now hosted on the mirrors instead of i686.

Yes i have used in the past Archlinux32 and i think i will install it. But at the beginning i choose Manjaro32 because the old PC is for a non linux user.
I will write a lot of documentation and explain carefully the aim of Archlinux.

Thanks for reply.

I think there is something in the works for a manjaro32 repo.

So you could have a little patience.
