Misleading application entry in Whisker menu (XFCE): Terminal

Small post for a benign issue i found.
On a French XFCE, there is a misleading entry in the Whisker menu for the Terminal, because it actually opens its preferences. It's not much of a problem when navigating through the menu tree, but it is one when searching the Terminal, because then both "Terminal Xfce" entries show up without anything to tell them apart.

terminal

The obvious fix is to rename the entry accordingly through MenuLibre. But maybe there is something to check at the package level?

I suspect that the actual .desktop files in /usr/share/applications has misleading info inside.

it is a translation problem at xfce level and not manjaro, in the .desktop.
You can copy this desktop in your home and edit it

grep 'fr' /usr/share/applications/xfce4-terminal*.desktop -h | sort
Comment[fr]=Émulateur de terminal
Comment[fr]=Émulateur de terminal
GenericName[fr]=Émulateur de terminal
GenericName[fr]=Émulateur de terminal
Name[fr]=Terminal Xfce
Name[fr]=Terminal Xfce

its for all language

grep '\[de\]' /usr/share/applications/xfce4-terminal*.desktop -h | sort
Comment[de]=Terminal-Programm
Comment[de]=Terminal-Programm
GenericName[de]=Terminal-Programm
GenericName[de]=Terminal-Programm
Name[de]=Xfce-Terminal
Name[de]=Xfce-Terminal

If it's under Preferences (Parametres) in the menu, how exactly is that misleading?

The one under System (Systeme) would be the one to open the terminal, this seems kind of logical to me.

However, if you need it named differently then provide upstream with a correct po file:
https://git.xfce.org/apps/xfce4-terminal

And/or file a bug report here:
https://bugzilla.xfce.org/

In case i wasn't explicit enough.
terminal2

Bug open.

I opened an issue too, at the Transifex Translation team (I 'm a member for Greek).
