My Laptop starts lagging, I think this is the OS problem

Recently, my laptop Lenovo Thinkpad T480s starts lagging, the battery icon is missing, and so on, and I don't know what causes it . Before this happened, all works fine

Examples of lagging exp :

  1. Boot up takes a longer time than before, and the system does not respond until 2-3 minutes after, like I cannot use my keyboard, etc. I need to wait around 2-3 minutes until it responds
  2. Shut down takes a longer time than before, although I press power off button in tray, my laptop still alive for some reason, power lights haven't light off like there is still something running in the background so it cannot power off properly.
  3. Open gnome-tweaks, gnome-setting, home directory takes a longer time as well, Normally it just takes less than 5 seconds, and now it takes me minutes, and it sucks..

Please help me solve this problem, I need my laptop to works as well as before... because I love to use Manjaro and re-installing it is my last choice, I guess

snap is a candidate well known to slow down the computer. check if it's installed and if uninstall it and give that a try (if you don't need snap).
a second thing is you can use a terminal and check 'systemd-analyze blame' for processes that slow down the boot.

Other than that seemingly long network manager wait to get online, everything that executes on boot seems fine. Try system-analyze critical-chain instead, this will show which services take a long time before entering the GUI session. Other than that, we will also need output of dmesg, preferably if you can get the first 1-3 minutes after its first message. htop snapshot when those lag happens might also help finding out where the processes stuck. I sense a near death disk problem, where the I/O is getting slower that it starts bottlenecking every processes, if not something else that affect the I/O. You might want to check your disk health as well.

I just bought my laptop for 7 months, Is it possible the disk already has a problem ?

The chance is there. If you have something like WD Green, Linux logging mechanism will kill that disk in less than 1 year. Check the S.M.A.R.T. values, especially Load Cycle Count.

My previous disk which has similar problem was not WD Green, so it's not limited to WD Green series only.

the booting is done within 4 seconds, that's a good value. maybe it's just a way easier and you had shorter waiting times at the boot up in previous distros. please post the output of 'cat /etc/default/grub | grep GRUB_TIMEOUT'
Standard is 10 seconds, so the loader will wait 10 seconds before it starts.
you can edit this file with sudo rights and reduce it to 2 or 3 seconds, don't use 0 because in need to use F8 it won't work if 0 seconds waiting is edited.
after this use 'sudo update-grub' and reboot

Try enabling the haveged service.

That link seems to be for Hdds not applicable to modern SSDs
I would challenge those claims as well as many WD green user have millions of start stops with no problem in fact i have one here that was bought in about 2008-2009 2tb wd green still runs like a dream after 10-11 years tuning off the counter makes no difference to life only the users perception that it will fail after some magic number 280000? mine is load/unload cycle count 2205080

as mentioned grub is waiting for 10 seconds until it starts the boot process. added to the 4 seconds that the boot process takes it's all in 14 seconds booting time. as described you can set the Timeout to about 3 seconds and your system will boot a way faster.
be aware to edit this file with sudo-rights and dont forget to use update-grub to take it effect.

I call this a litmus test. When a simple task can not be accomplished by a user without requesting further info this tells me the problem is not the OS (as stated in your title), but exists between the chair and desk.

Perhaps you need to learn better search skills.
