Netbeans looks Blurry?

I'm using Netbeans (a Java IDE) from the official repositories. It looks pixelated for some reason. If this some setting form system settings that I'm forgetting to tick? All the text looks wavy/blurry (it comes out WAY better in the picture for some reason, but it looks REALLY bad from the user's perspective):

How would I fix this issue?

All Java applications look like that in Linux. Add this lines to your .bash_profile

export _JAVA_OPTIONS='-Dawt.useSystemAAFontSettings=gasp'

Can't remember if you have to log out and back in to take effect, but for sure you have to restart the Netbeans app.
