Network adapter shows wi-fi networks but doesn't connect.

Just yesterday I installed manjaro alongside windows as per this great guide by linux-aarhus

Everything went well for the installation, but I can't get my wi-fi adapter to work, all the available networks are showing, but once I try to connect, I enter in my password and the little spinning, connecting, icon shows, a few 10 or so seconds later, a popup saying the network was disconnected appears.
I've referred to some other topics such as this

The solution for that one says to open the network manager configuration and set to
"store password for all users (non-encrypted)"
I can't really find that option, there's only 3,
Store for this user, Store for all users, and Ask everytime,

I have also tried to create a new network configuration by:

Right-Click on the network icon in the taskbar -> Edit Connections -> (+) icon -> Wifi.

In this case, every single option is grayed out and inaccessible.
On windows everything works fine, I'm writing this on the same machine, on windows it all works fine as always, the adapter lights up, and blinks, in manjaro, the adapter does NOT light up.

I am running a x64 XFCE 19.0.2 installation of Manjaro and this is the output from
