New deepin touch features do not work after update

Hello!

Finally I have found something clean for my touch laptop with arch command line. Everything worked in the live version but after installation and system update the new deepin touch functions do not work.

I cannot hold touch to right click for example.

Herp please?

PS how do I make the windows snap to left/right side of the screen like on Windows or Elementary OS?

Wow I didn't expect to see someone ged baited on "Windows" word in the PS note completely ignoring the main part.

Come on I also compared it to Elementary OS and indirectly to Ubuntu so what was there to confirm?

If you need it often make a template and spread good will.

So there you have it. With option 1 you go for the brains route, with option 2 you go for the good will route. You can go for the third most common option as well. You can call the spec-mods now to save your ego and make yourself feel a little bit better with the fake justice.

Your inxi is incomplete, or you just preferred to share part of it. Of course i can identify sound, lan, wifi and the nvme device, and that is a Lenovo ... That means it might be an ELAN Touchpad, and if is not working out of the box, then it might be the ELAN0618. If that's the case, then we talk about this:

I did some searching and found this thread https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/427566/touchpad-on-lenovo-v330-thinkpad-v-series-is-not-recognized I downloaded the kernel sources and found that the ACPI ID of my touchpad wasn't in the drivers/input/mouse/elan_i2c_core.c file. Lenovo YOGA 720-13IKB

used to have the same issue with other kernels but it works out of the box with kernel 4.14 and no issues (basing this on rumors and people talking).
@Rudenick - If you still have the 4.14 try it, if not, install it from MSM Kernel. Maybe you can savage that install till Deepin/Kernels get that fixed.
