My issue is that after installing nitrogen with pacman -S nitrogen and running it, it only shows a screen without the ability to choose which display to apply to.

Any idea how to get the displays available so I can properly set multiple wallpapers? Thanks! Lmk if you need more system info.

Think you will have to stop nemo managing your desktop.

Click where it says "Automatic" to manually select screen. And as mentioned, make sure your FM does not control the desktop.
Find the right command to run nitrogen at session start.
Try nitrogen --help

@AgentS Clicking automatic didn't do it for me, but it was Nemo.

Using gsettings set org.nemo.desktop show-desktop-icons false removed Nemo from handling the desktop. I then restarted cinnamon and opened nitrogen -- screens were there!
