OBS is having flickering issues while recording using XSHM.

I'm having issues with OBS. So basically, I moved from ubuntu, liked it, and got familiar in 15 days. Install OBS, all good. I tried to record with OBS so I used XSHM. Sure, that works. But what's that flickering? Ok no problem I think and try to record, thinking it's just a preview issue. Nope. It's there in the recorded video. Ok, i think. Let's google the issue. I do and find out it's a common issue in manjaro. Sure let's try and fix it. All the issues are related or caused by nvidia gpus. I have a intel gpu. Now what?

Try with:
sudo pacman -Syu xf86-video-intel
Reboot and test again.

Interesting! My first check was, is it modesetting? Because Intel's video driver always caused exactly this behavior for me.

yes i do have the video-modesetting driver!

Well, then try the Intel driver as @bogdancovaciu suggests :crossed_fingers:
