OpenBox and Polybar

Hello I am using Manjaro i3 and I installed OpenBox and I want to use Polybar. I have polybar pretty much the way I want it. However I can not get it to display my workspaces on the left. Any ideas? My config:

Very very nice edition. Excellent job! Kind of reminds me of Archlabs.

I have a lot of inspiration from that - and a lot of scripts

@linux-aarhus what font am I missing?

image

These fonts are installed with openbox

manjaro-openbox-fonts
ttf-dejavu
ttf-font-awesome
ttf-font-logos
ttf-icomoon-icons
ttf-material-icons
ttf-polybar-icons
ttf-roboto

You cannot judge from what is shown in the config - some of the chars does only show correct when rendered by polybar.

If anyone is still reading this thread.. and I'm not being criminal for a necropost, I have the following question. With bspwm & polybar, I have no problem showing/higlighting which workspaces are 'occupied'. I am unable to do something similar for Openbox with the ewmh workspaces (xworkspaces).

Is this doable? If so, ideas & guidance are most appreciated.

I dont't think openbox is capable.

That was my guess. Danke schΓΆn.

I'll use tint2 to accomplish something similar, then. ;
