Optimus Switch with dual monitors

Hello,
I have a System76 Gazelle laptop with Intel and Nvidia gpus), and have installed Manjaro KDE. My goal is to use it as my primary PC at my desk, where I have two Dell 24"monitors.I´ve read through many of the relevant forum and Wiki posts and determined I would need either Optimus Manager or Optimus Switch to be able to achieve this. I also want to preserve the ability to (seamlessly as possible), disconnect from the desktop and just use it as a laptop. I decided on Optimus Switch.

I followed the instructions at Optimus Switch SDDM and everything seemed to go smoothly.

When I switch to Intel, I only get one display; the other is not detected. I have the impression that is t be expected, so I am not asking or help on that. If that is not the case, we can come back to it.

Here's my setup:
Left display: D2418P on HDMI (2560x1440)
Right Display: D2419H on DP->miniDP (1920x1080)

When I switch to Nvidia, I have the following settings:

The display problem is this:
On boot and on screen lock, the SDDM screen displays on both monitors. On login, the left display goes dark, and the DE environment shows on the right, but is lacking the main screen components - menu, taskbar, system tray. I can open apps via krunner there, and I can drag them to the left and work with them, but I guess the DE on the left is not loaded at all or only partially so.

How do I get a fully functioning display on both monitors when I am logged in, as I see when I get to the SDDM screen?

Thanks in advance for any help.
~dean~
