[pacman-mirrors-dev] Testing mirrors async

  • best is connexion and best are the results : you can have 50 download at same time
  • If we use a country, problem asyn is low : we have "only" 4..5 download at same time

The problem is big if user have not country filter and a bad bandwith - my all test is with 90 urls (with 16Mb/s i not have a bad connexion)

and yes, muti-thread with python is less efficient than Go - it's good in this case :wink:


for me -c all --test-async not pass all I'm frozen every time.
At iran ? but at same time , with go, all is ok and without --test-asyncit also ok ?
