Hi. I'm running MANJARO 19 on my Alienware 13 A04 and it works well except that I can't shut the computer down by clicking shut down or reboot. Also, I can't put it in standby mode by closing the laptop lid. When I try to do either the screen turns off, but the fans and keyboard backlighting remain on and in order to start it again I have to do a hard reset with the power button.
I'm guessing this is a kernel issue? I'm not sure, I'm new to Linux.
Any help appreciated!
