python3-opencv missing from Manjaro

I can't find this package for Manjaro. My friend says it exists in extra for Arch.

[bullshark:~]$ yay -Ss python3-opencv
[bullshark:~]$ sudo pacman -Ss python3-opencv
[sudo] password for bullshark:
[bullshark:~]$ sudo pacman -Ss opencv
extra/opencv 4.3.0-7
    Open Source Computer Vision Library
extra/opencv-samples 4.3.0-7
    Open Source Computer Vision Library (samples)
[bullshark:~]$

It's right there... same package as in arch, but older version (in Manjaro Stable).

That's not a python package. I installed it, and this other software still complains that it's missing.

ERROR:main:Unable to determine if python3-opencv is installed; continuing anyway.
If you get a cv2 import error, install python3-opencv
Installing requirements.txt

opencv-python is in the AUR as python-opencv-python. I imagine that's what you're looking for?

[plasma ~]# pacman -Q | egrep 'opencv|numpy'
opencv 4.3.0-7
python-numpy 1.19.0-1
[plasma ~]# python
Python 3.8.3 (default, May 17 2020, 18:15:42)

>>> import cv2

Not sure what you're trying to do there, but don't run those commands from a root shell / as root.

Works after installing opencv-python from the aur

$ python

>>> import cv2
