Shared cups printer can't be installed on windows (but does detect it)

So I'm trying to get a virtual pdf cups printer from my manjaro install, installed on a windows pc. The pdf printer seems to be correctly configured. (the website can be visited from the windows pc. access is set correctly in the cups config:

#Listen localhost:631
Port 631
<Location />
  Order allow,deny
  Allow all

Browsing On

I tried one of my other regular printers I've got configured on my cups server. all have the same problem in windows

it's in dutch, but it's basically the screen in windows where it doesn't recognize a printer/server on that address

This is the addresss I'm entering in windows btw:

I should also mention that windows even auto detected that printer, but when I try to add it that way, it also gives me an error

Any ideas on what could be going wrong?

You might be better off asking on a windows support forum.

I feel like it's a Linux issue though.
Seeing as it fails on on my other Windows machines as well
