An "I don't know" option would be analogous to "No" in this case. The software can't make a decision for you.

Having said that, he is trusted by me and has a ton of software he maintains

And to answer your second question: If you don't know if you should trust someone, the answer is "No": The Botnet Maffia can always use another PC in their empire... and you should just do without ncurses.
