Software Renderer in Use even though i have all drivers

Hello people! I am new to Linux and Manjaro. Basicly my problem is manjaro doesnt start or shutdown or reboot, I can only start with "quiet text" I figured out it is probably my GPUs. And as i suspected and googled a lot, I have "Software Renderer in Use" issue even tho, my GPUs are installed thru manjaro open-source channels automaticly.

My spec; i7 3632QM 2.2GHz, 8GB RAM, Intel HD 4000, AMD 7670M 4GB GPUs 500GB HDD.

inxi -G

Graphics: Device-1: Intel 3rd Gen Core processor Graphics driver: i915 v: kernel
Device-2: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD/ATI] Thames [Radeon HD 7500M/7600M Series] driver: radeon v: kernel
Display: x11 server: X.Org 1.20.8 driver: modesetting FAILED: ati unloaded: intel, radeon
           resolution: 1366x768~60Hz
           OpenGL: renderer: N/A v: N/A

I would appricaite any help!

No one?

(PS - you can use some nifty tricks to automatically send the output to a pastebin and generate a link .. ex: inxi -Fxxxza --no-host | curl -F 'file=@-' https://0x0.st

[@-hp ~]$ inxi Fxxxza --no-host

i dont know what am i doing wrong? and i cant use mhwd -li or -l console just stays blank...

Well that doesnt look right...
What ISO did you download? Link ?

Oh. Also I see you missed the dash
inxi -Fxxxza --no-host

(though that doesnt account for the perl and locale issues)

manjaro.org/downloads/offical/kde/ 64bit but i have changed kernel after to the Latest stable verison

Can you make sure that your region/language is all set properly ?
(Open up Manjaro Settings Manager > Locale)

By the way - the second GPU is a pretty old card, from the Northern Islands series - it wont use AMDGPU. Just Radeon.

Which one are you referring to ? there are intel and radeon 7670m nothing else

You tagged this thread with 'AMDGPU' which is the newer opensource driver for AMD cards, but it only supports Southern/Sea Islands cards (experimentally) and newer.
I know you have the intel and the radeon ... the point is the radeon is too old to use the modern driver.
(but it can still use the legacy 'radeon' driver)

btw i am stuck with black screen right now  it is not booting up

What changed?
(none of my commands would change any settings .. would just print output)

after i changed locale, i log out and went to black screen and i restarted it, i cant enable ctrl + alt + f2

maybe i should give up on manjaro and go back to ubuntu ? :frowning:

I think your install was broken or misconfigured to begin with..
Not really sure why your locale would be off already, or why setting it would cause blank screen.
I think you might want to download/verify your image if you were to do a reinstall.

sure then i will go for another clean install  tbh i want to use manjaro. although how would you suggest me to install drivers ? free or non-free then ?

Definitely use free (you dont need anything else with intel+radeon)
You might even want to try by using Architect as it is more powerful
(its text-based .. but it really isnt scary)

(If you have trouble getting to desktop or booting .. I would suggest turning off one of the cards .. such as by boot option radeon.modeset=0)

i have intend to play some games (as much as in the hardware's capability no big expectations) and use blender or at least gimp tho

The installer is text-based .. from there you can install whatever you want, from groups of packages, or from the regular manjaro ISO profiles like xfce-minimal, or kde-full.

let me go with clean reinstall then i will see, thanks for pointing in the right direction
