[Solved] BCM4331 - Inconsistent and slow Wifi on mac

I have just installed Manjaro on my mid-2012 Macbook Pro and the Wifi is significantly slower on Manjaro than on MacOS. It is also somewhat inconsistent. Sometimes a page loads as fast as I expect and other times it takes a very long time to load. What should I do to fix this?

Kernel: 4.19.59-1-MANJARO x86_64 bits: 64 compiler: gcc
v: 9.1.0 Desktop: Gnome 3.32.2 wm: gnome-shell dm: GDM 3.32.0
Distro: Manjaro Linux
Device-1: Broadcom and subsidiaries NetXtreme BCM57765 Gigabit Ethernet
PCIe driver: tg3 v: 3.137
Device-2: Broadcom and subsidiaries BCM4331 802.11a/b/g/n
vendor: Apple AirPort Extreme driver: bcma-pci-bridge

See here

because is mentioned here, where the OP has same Macbook model.

Thank you for the link!

I tried sudo pacman -Rns linux419-broadcom-wl since my kernel seems to be 419 as well, but it say

error: target not found: linux419-broadcom-wl

None of the three driver versions you listed as examples seems to be the right one.

How do I check the driver version?

that is a command to remove the driver IF you had it installed. If is not installed then of course the target is not found on your system.
Continue with the how to ...

Okay, it seems to be working now. Thanks!!
