[SOLVED] Why my manjaro freeze after i use for opening firefox, etc.

Hello, this is my first posting and the first time i'm using Manjaro with KDE Plasma 5, and i want to ask something about why i'm getting freezes after i opening firefox, or using Kate/vscode, or running something.

These error i got since installing Deepin because my windows 10 is sick.

Then I would recommend you to add the following line at the end of your fstab file:

tmpfs /tmp tmpfs defaults,noatime,mode=1777 0 0

To do so,

$ sudo nano /etc/fstab

Enter your pw and then add this line at the end of the file

tmpfs /tmp tmpfs defaults,noatime,mode=1777 0 0

Safe it with ctrl+o and leave with ctrl+x

Then enter:

$ sudo update-grub

and reboot.

Is this fixing my "freeze" problem?
or just retrieve some log to be shown?

The tmpfs is standard and for some reason missing in your installation and it could potentially be the reason for your freeze issue. No negative effects to be expected, just try to avoid typos.

Okay... But if my notebook/laptop/whatever its called is frozen again, well maybe it's my computer fault and i had to go service.

Two quick points:

  1. With systemd there may be tmpfs filesystems in place which are not in /etc/fstab. It's better to check with e.g. mount | grep tmpfs

  2. You don't need to update-grub after altering /etc/fstab. They are different things.

You could try to create another user, maybe it's a KDE setting issue. A new user gets fresh settings.

Try to do this from TTY if possible, e.g. by ctrl + alt + F2. Later-on you can return to GUI by ctrl + alt + F1.

A new user called {username} is created e.g. by following command:

$ sudo useradd -mG lp,network,power,sys,wheel {username}
$ sudo passwd {username}

I already told you, i'm using Manjaro KDE Plasma. And i'm using deepinOS before deepin got totally broken and i must find another distro which is manjaro KDE.

I don't get it where is contradicted?
