[Solved] XFCE Power Manager Settings Don't open after recent Update

After a recent update, I noticed that my battary indicator wasn't showing, and also going to the XFCE settings panel and clicking on the power settings no long opens anything. It appears it's still installed, and I can adjust my settings through terminal still, but wondering how to fix the GUI for power settings?

Main issue is my screen blanking settings aren't being used so I have to do it manually in terminal for now (minor issue) but not sure if I should just wait for it to fix itself in a later update, or maybe something needs attention.

Was using xfce-power-manager-dev instead of main branch, switched to the regular one and it seems to all be working again.

I'm not sure thats what you should be using (notice the -dev in the name?)
I am away right now .. but can you search ?
pacman -Ss xfce4-power-manager

NVM - I looked at a repo .. yeah I think you want the xfce4-power-manager

Soo just install that (it will conflict - accept removal od the dev one)

Yeah I noticed the dev branch being used (pretty sure I didn't set that but whatever)

the search string you suggested brings me this:

extra/xfce4-power-manager 1.6.5-2 (xfce4)

You might also want to check about other ones you may have left sitting around:

update: just switched over to the main branch from dev on the xfce4-power-manager and did a whole update, seems to back to working. thanks
