System do not boot after the updates (6-march-2017)

Hello ! Community

Today(6-march-2017) I updated by system every thing went smooth but as I restarted my system it gives me an error something like this:

[Failed] to start load/save screen backlight brightness of backlight:acpi_video0

Sorry I am not able to read that clearly

I had gone through many posts on the same issue on the forum but I am quite new to Linux and do not know and understand them?
one of the post is as follows:

I am not able to get tty and not booting to GUI, it just shows a long script including the error and then a blank screen was left on which I can do nothing

Please help me I need my system as I do my class project works on this computer

Actually this problem is there from very beginning when I installed my system but mostly it boots into GUI and when it not I just do the hard reset by pressing the power button. But now this errors is coming everytime.
This also arrised after previous updates but somehow it is fixed by itself although do some chrooting but it do not work

Any help is much appreciated.

right now i am using the live image.

Shutting off power frequently can damage the hard-disk. There is a possibility that some crucial part got damaged, due to which it isn't able to boot.

This is very little information to go on, and you say that this keeps happening. That is not expected behaviour, and is indicative of some hardware issue. (But don't take my word for it)

If you can find some boot time error logs and post them here, someone might be able to help.

Thanks for your quick reply sir

But now i had again do a fresh install of the manjaro linux 17.0 and it seems to work fine although the error is still there at the startup as i mentioned above.

[Failed] to start load/save screen backlight brightness of backlight:acpi_video0

but somehow it boots into the Graphical User Interface(GUI) after a black screen and every thing seems to work fine.
I may some back with some other issues here. Thanks
