System freezes after screen locks when using AMD eGPU

Hi all,

Been using Manjaro for a while, and Linux for quite a bit longer, but this one has me stumped!

I've recently switched to a Lenovo ThinkPad P43s for work, and use a Thunderbolt 3 eGPU with it.

The laptop on it's own works fine - no issues at all.

When using the eGPU, when I lock the screen and then try to wake the system again, the screens stay black, and no input is accepted. [CTRL] + [ALT] + [Fx] doesn't do anything - the machine is basically frozen until a hard-reboot is done.

Everything else about the eGPU works fine, though I'm probably not getting the best performance out of it; I'm essentially using it to drive two big monitors and provide dock functionality.

Xorg.0.log / Xorg.1.log are both blank for this period. /var/log/lightdm doesn't have much of use in.

Thanks,

Jon
