plasma5-theme-adaptabreath is a package by Manjaro. The others are from Arch upstream. So we have to fix plasma5-theme-adaptabreath. Try to remove that theme and reinstall it later.

Went fine on my low end testing laptop (Gnome, 4.18.11). Thanks a lot. I am pretty sure that icon themes and themes make a difference to push the performance a little bit. I am gonna investigate this.

All good here, but since 1 day ago, when I switched to Testing brach, under cursor things at side menu blinks.
That hapens at Nemo, Evince etc.
Same in unstable, thunar left side "Geräte", not for browser ff-developer.
But boot-time

yeah - boot time got amazing:

Concidering this is on a full encrypted system which uses a shi.. very many itterations on the Key ^^ I am really happy with way under a minute.
So, On bios machine with GPT table on a ssd (with ef02 flag partition for bootloader) and no DM (auto connect on TTY), Arch and a old Manjaro from 0.8.2 on an other tired Hdd, no problem to boot.
Here is a compare Before/after:

Yes, we changed one file and removed Option "PrimaryGPU" "yes" from nvidia-drm-outputclass.conf. However, changes to bumblebee should have fixed that.
This is a known issue with theme. You can try to switch to another one. Which theme do you currently use?

I have Arc Theme also here, but there isn't a "hoover" efect at Arc.
I have a question - how can I suppress the oem logo show after grub? as of now I am asked to enter luks password (with the prompt overlaying the oem screen) - than grub (which i like to show) - and than it shows the OEM logo again - until cryptmapper reports clear... i rather not have the logo at all.
Is there a boot parameter to suppress the logo?
OMG - on my old PC (2009) i will see this???
