Dolphin will not open as root, so I cannot browse my snapshots unless I drop to a terminal, su, then run timeshift-gtk and it will then allow me to view with pcmanfm.
I have set the inode/directory:
sudo xdg-mime default pcmanfm.desktop inode/directory
I had this working, prior to a re-install but cannot figure it out this time - what have I missed?
This is what happens:
/dev/sda2 is mounted at: /mnt/timeshift/backup, options: rw,relatime,nossd,space_cache,autodefrag,subvolid=5,subvol=/ kdeinit5: preparing to launch '/usr/lib/kf5/klauncher' kdeinit5: Launched KLauncher, pid = 26076, result = 0 kdeinit5: Communication error with launcher. Exiting! Executing Dolphin with sudo is not possible due to unfixable security vulnerabilities.
