Please read this:

and post some more information so we can see what's really going on. Now we know the symptom of the disease, but we need some more probing to know where the origin lies...

 :+1: :innocent:

P.S. If you enter a bit more details in your profile, we can also see which Desktop Environment you're using, which CPU/GPU you have, ...
P.P.S. Are you running on ARM as it's trying to install packages for ARM...
P.P.P.S. Are you connected to the Internet?

There are some other mirror sites with the same 404 error (new users can only use two links..)

Error: Failed to commit transaction: failed to retrieve some files

Resolved with release notes of most recent update. Updated mirror list

  1. Please see the answer below this one.
  2. in the future, just remove the HTTPS:// from the link and you can post many more!
  3. Please read this again and ensure you use the Preformatted text button as per below screenshot:
    Preformatted text
and then copy-paste the text of the output in the terminal in the space where it says type or paste code here because your output is a bit unreadable as it stands now. :sob:

:innocent:

Please update your databases first. A 404 error means the file does not exist.

sudo pacman-mirrors -g && sudo pacman -Syyu cups
