Unable to mount sd cards / micro sd cards

I want to mount my micro sd card on Manjaro KDE. I tried the following commands:

lsblk

That outputs this:

Then I tried this (the directory /mnt/sd already exists):

sudo mount /dev/sdc2 /mnt/sd

and got the following error message:

mount: /mnt/sd: Der Superblock von /dev/sdc2 konnte nicht gelesen werden.

I am also not able to create a new partition table and partitions with the KDE Partition Tool, even though the sd card is listed as a block device. When I try the same commands with the same sd card reader (which also has some USB ports) with a USB stick, mounting works perfectly fine. I know, this topic was discussed a lot on the internet, but I couldn't find a solution for my problem.

Please provide from terminal:
lspci -k
So we can know what CardReader you have and what drivers is using. Is known fact that some realtek card readers don't work very well with the rtsx_pci driver, and you need to install this driver from AUR

Right, so is an external card reader, that connects to USB and has some more USB ports. Then lsusb is what would reveal the model.
If connected to USB3 then maybe try to connect it to USB2.
