Manjaro KDE was working normally. I booted it today and there were 230-some updates, so I assume it was a release update. I did the updates, rebooted, and Manjaro hangs for awhile after the first line of boot messages, then says:
Resume hibernation device UUID=....... not found.
Mount /new-root: Can't find UUID=...(different UUID #)...
And I'm left with a terminal prompt.
If I choose the fallback boot, it boots fine. Rebooting from there using the default GRUB selection again hangs with the hibernation message. I don't believe I've ever hibernated Manjaro. The problem started after booting normally and running the updates.
I tried reinstalling GRUB but that has no effect.
Manjaro is installed on a USB hard drive along with several other distros. Each is installed in its own single partition and they share a swap partition (only one distro is in use at a time). GRUB is installed on that drive.
