Wird die Installation durchlaufen? Manjaro Linux 18.0-alpha-2 Illyria

Hallo,
die Installation ueber chroot habe ich erst zwei mal gemacht. Gib es eine gute Anleitung? Weil es hat bei deepin und Xfce bzw. bei mir nicht so richtig geklappt.
Bei dem Versuch Xfce 17.1.7 neu zu installieren hat es mir dann auch noch die erste Partition zerhauen. Leider sind dadurch einige meiner "Werke" verschwunden, da meine Timeshift Sicherungen zu alt waren fuer immer
Erst dachte ich, da ist sind sie ja aber es waren meine Wallpaper die das Team eingebaut hat.

Jetyt sitye ich gerade in der live/session mit Manjaro Linux 18.0-alpha-2 Illyria und ner englischen Tastaturbelegung und suche die geschweiften KLAMMERN .
GParted schaufelt gerade Platz frei fuer den naechsten Versuch.
Alle Tipps im Internet mit Aenderung von .py Dateien ist fehlgeschlagen.
Ich habe wohl seltene Hardware verbaut, wo es nach 75% nicht weiter geht mit der Installation. Irgend was mit 200 wird versucht, ich brauch aber 300
Bloed ist, dass andere die Wissen wie es geht, es nicht der Allgemeinheit kund tun. Oder ich habe nicht richtig gesucht
Broadcomm oder die NVIDIA/Karte machen das Problem. Karte koennte ich zur Not aus bauen, wo das Netzwerk dingens verbaut ist weiss ich nicht, sind 2 Anschluesse am Rechner.

Bin dankbar fuer alle Tipps
Am besten waere natuerlich eine bis 100 Prozent durchlaufende 18.

Das geht bei mir nicht , Abbruch, W/Lan brauch ich ueberhaupt nicht. Wer cool wenn da ne Frage kaeme, hab es hier schon gelesen den Vorschlag aus 2016. Denke ich mal, mein englisch ist bescheiden. Die Erklaerungen sind meist auch so geschrieben, dass ich dann erst mal die entsprechenden Dateien suche oder nicht weiss wo wie was eingegeben werden muss.

Gibts da was fuer Dummies?

Irgendwo stand es w[rde durch laufen wenn man nicht auf die deutsche Tastatur wechselt beim Start sondern erst beim install, jetzt schaffe ich es nicht mal hier

I had the same problem with the latest i3 ISO (17.0), with Calamares 3.1.0, on a Dell Latitude E6400 with a Broadcom BCM43228 wireless chip. Removing the net config lines from /usr/lib/calamares/modules/mhwdcfg/main.py worked; thanks a lot, amatrelan!

jaypeesmith, the lines I removed were

for id in self.identifier['net']:
                self.configure(b, id)

near the bottom of the file, in the run(self) method of the MhwdController class.

Found temporal fix for Calamares 2.4.3

I went to /usr/lib/calamares/modules/mhwdcfg/main.py and removed mhwd net related part at lines 84=>. And then I tried to install and it went without any problems.

Now booted on fresh install and no problems.

One more possible fix for calamares is not to install network drivers if network is working (or install same as live).

Ich hätte besser grub nicht auf sda installieren lassen sollen.
Habe mich langsam durch den Archtikten gewühlt, alles gut mit Internetverbindung und startpage.
Bootet natürlich, wie immer bei mir, nicht geht aber in rescue grub. Was mir nicht hilft da.

Eigentlich wollte ich Bayern gucken.

Timeshift kann das Rettungslaufwerk aus dem live-system nicht booten. Kein fstab vorhanden.
Ich bräuchte daher ein bootgrub irgendwo, am besten auf sda.
Als Systeme habe ich auf
sdb1 deepin 17.1.7
sdb3 Xfce 17
sdc2 sollte jetzt Xfce 18 sein.

Langsam treten Schweißperlen auf zumal mein gesammeltes Wissen auf Laufwerk sda ist/war .
Konnte sonst immer ein System für die Rettung/Wiederherstellung nutzen.
Das war einfacher.

Ich würde versuchen die Daten zu sichern (siehe Testdisk) und dann ganz neu beginnen. nicht auf Manjaro 18-alpha2 festgelegt sein. Kann ja sein, dass das nicht mit deiner Hardware oder allgemein nicht funktioniert.
Manjaro-Architect kann auch manchmal Probleme haben, besonders, wenn die DE-Profile überarbeitet wrerden.

Wichitg wäre es bei calamares den Terminal-Output zu kopieren und auf hastebin.com z.B. zu posten.
Bei manjaro-architect gibt es in /var/log/m-a.log den Log, den bitte auch angeben.

Laut Gparted ist aber nichts zum sichern da. Mounten geht auch nicht. Ich bräuchte halt erstmal ein bootbares Sytem von den dreien die ich auf den Festplatten verteilt habe.

sdc2 sollte jetzt Xfce 18 sein.

Gibt es denn Grub auf sdb? Kannst du im BIOS/UEFI die Boot-Reihenfolge ändern, dass sdb zuerst gebootet wird. Wenn es nicht mit dem booten von sdb klappt, dann gibt es die anleitung zu Wiederherstellung von Grub. https://wiki.manjaro.org/index.php?title=Restore_the_GRUB_Bootloader

Ich kann die Befehle hier angeben, aber ich muss wissen, welches System die Kontolle über Grub haben soll (sdb1 Deepin oder sdb3 Xfce) und ob dieses System in UEFI oder BIOS Legacy installiert wurde.
